ok, it isn't time to talk about slackline, but Australia )
Yesterday we depatured in a Brisbane airport at 23.30, so all public transport didn't work. There were several ways of getting our new home in Gold Coast.
1 - to ask for a thansfer a homestay accomodation in advance, it cost 125 AUD $, to 250 for both.
2 - get a taxi that costs 240 $.
3 - wait for morning and get a train to Robina station + bus, this is the cheapest way for 1-2 people, for both is 75$.
4 - and the last one (as I can say) to rent a car. I didn't think about this one in advance, just there in the airport Stepa suggested to try. I was realy surprised of this one - 103$ (if you're older 24) for the cheapest car if we wanted leave it in Gold Coast.
With some fears we chose the last one. It was funny and frightened to go on a "cirсle" from the left side, not the right as was usual for us).
It took sth about 2 hours to get home without big good map and gps ))
Now we are staing in a huge modern house with green courtyard and a pool, where lots of parrots fly). The highlight of this accomodation is location - 550m to my university. Oh yeh, we move to Australia by the reason of my masters degree. So for next 1.5 years we are going to write from here)
Today was rainy all the day, but it didn't prevent us from swimming in the ocean and walking around for apr 17km.
